The Impact of Earth Energies on Life
An Overview of the Origin of Earth Energies: The Hartmann & Curry Grids
The sun ejects large quantities of charged particles from its upper atmosphere, consisting of plasma of high-energy electrons and protons – called the Solar Wind. The Solar Wind reaches the earth at speeds up to 900 km/s and can cause geomagnetic storms that have enough power to knock out power grids and form auroras in the upper atmosphere.
The earth, consisting mostly of molten iron, has a strong north-south magnetic field around it. The flux lines of the earth’s magnetic field are revolving continuously around the polar axis with a period of 24 hours and when the solar wind hits the earth the effect is that of an enormous generator. NASA has calculated it to generate in the region of 20-150 kV of electric potential across the upper atmosphere (magnetosphere) and up to a million Megawatts of power as the earth revolves.
The resulting currents flowing across the entire skin of the earth’s surface are known as Earth Energy or Telluric currents which are electrical currents in the form of Extremely Low Frequency (ELF) electromagnetic waves. The waves consist of slowly propagating and oscillating electrons and ions synchronised exactly with the earth’s 24 hour rotation. An Earth Energy cycle occurs consisting of electrons propagating in one direction for 12 hours and then back in the opposite direction during the next 12 hours, changing directions at noon and midnight precisely.
Over the millions of years that the earth has been rotating around the sun the electromagnetic waves of the Earth Energy have settled across the face of the earth, taking the path of least resistance, and stabilised into a very coherent grid of low frequency longitudinal electric waves. These Earth Energy electrical waves are quite stationary as the electrons and ions pass along them, guided and stabilised by the magnetic fields they generate. An analogy of this would be to see a fast stream descending down a mountainside; the water flows rapidly, with waves undulating up and down. Overall, the waves appear to be stationary whereas the water is running rapidly downhill.
There are two principal Earth Energy grids are called the Hartmann and Curry Grids (named after the scientists who discovered them). Both of these Earth Energy grids exist in sympathetic harmony with earth’s 24 hour period. The Curry Grid with a wavelength of about 4.5 meters, follows the even overtones of the 24 hour period: 12, 6, 3, 1.5 hours and 45, 22.5, 11.2, 5.6, 2.8 minutes and is aligned in the south-west to north-east and north-west and south-east directions. While the Hartmann Grid, with a wavelength of about 3 meters, starts at the first odd overtone (24/3=8 hours) followed by its even overtones: 4, 2 1, 0.5 hours etc. Together they produce an amazing universal grid of Earth Energy across the entire globe.
Along with heat and light, Earth Energy (or geomagnetic energy) is the most common form of electric wave on earth. However, as an energy source this Earth Energy is by far the most stable and consistent form. Life on earth since its most primitive origins millions of years ago has evolved under the influence of Earth Energy as well as light and heat.
The coherent longitudinal electric waves of Earth Energy represent synchronised standing waves and are completely polarized within their grids. Therefore invoking resonant energy from these energy waves becomes very simple. For example if a conductor such as a large crystalline stone (e.g. Menhir or Dolmen) is placed into the energy grid, corresponding resonance of energy can be detected within the stone. The level of resonating energy within the stone can be altered by changing the consistency, shape and location of the stone. A stone shaped to accommodate an exact sympathetic wavelength of Earth Energy that is placed at the node of two intersecting gridlines will produce more powerful resonance. The energy levels of the resonance within the stone can be further amplified if for instance the stone is placed on a node that is also above the crossing of two or more underground streams (this is known as spiral amplification).
The Neolithic architects of megalithic stones followed these principles. Many examples of the exact positioning of these stones over the Earth Energy nodes of Hartmann and Curry grids can be shown. Below is an example of Le Menec stones which are among the Carnac Alignments in Southern Brittany, France.
The diagram above shows a cross-sectional view of some of the Alignment Le Menec stones. They have been carefully positioned to coincide with the nodes of the Curry and Hartmann Grids.
Le Menhir de Champ-Dolent is one of the biggest standing Menhirs in Brittany, at over 10 m in height (above the ground). It is perfectly aligned at the Earth Energy nodes of the Hartmann and Curry Grids as well as three underground streams. Undoubtedly the original architects of these Menhirs, Dolmens and other Sacred Sites used Dowsing (or divining) to find optimal positions for these giant stones. The Neolithic people had virtually none of the technologies we have today. Dowsing and their sensitivity to Earth Energy was to them the foundation of their science, religion and art.

Origins of the Life Force
Crystalline structures are also found in the cells of living creatures and can therefore trap resonant Earth Energy from the grids of geomagnetic energy within the earth. In fact throughout evolution every single living cell of every plant and animal has resonant Earth Energy trapped within it.
The liquid crystal nature of living cell membranes stimulates resonance in exactly the same coherent, phased and polarised fashion as the Earth Energy that affects it, ultimately forming a super synchronous system across the body as a whole. This is often referred to as the Life Force of the organism and is synchronised harmonically to the 24 hour period of the rotation of the earth. To be precise they form horizontal and vertical energy rings having a period based on the Curry Grid of 11.2 minutes (and its even overtones: 2.8, 5.6) - the Life Frequency. The Life Force emanating from every living organism is often referred to as its aura and can be measured by techniques such as Kirlian photography and Gas Discharge Visualisation and manipulated using holistic healing methods such as Reiki, Chakra and homeopathy.
Sound and light
The different forms of energy that exist within the earth’s ecosystem have their own particular characteristics, but they have certain features in common - they travel in wave form and thus have a wavelength and frequency. Humans and animals are sensitive to many wave forms – heat, light, sound, vibrations in the ground as well as geomagnetic energy. Different nerves within an organism have been developed throughout evolution to detect and analyse these various wave forms. Throughout evolution the brain has learned to interpret these nervous impulses. In the most primitive species the simple ability to detect heat and light to produce food energy was essential. In higher species more sophisticated forms of wave detection became important such as the analysis of vibration and sound to hunt for food or to avoid a predator. In the case of migratory animals it was also the ability to detect and analyse Magnetic and Earth Energies to determine bearing and distance.
The most energy efficient method of utilising wave frequencies such as: amplifying, transferring, translating and transforming, is to take advantage of the wave frequency’s ‘sympathetic resonances’. That is using frequencies (cycles per second or Hertz, Hz) that are doubles of halves of each other. An example of this is to take a series of tuning forks in a room and striking one to sing on its own, such as A4 at 440Hz. Very quickly all the other tuning forks tuned in double of halves of 440Hz (i.e. ones which are whole octaves higher and lower) e.g. A3 at 220Hz and A5 at 880Hz will also start singing in sympathetic resonance with the tuning fork that was originally struck. The energy transfer and translation between these standing waves of sound is highly efficient. During the course of evolution the nervous system and brain has taken advantage of these phenomena and a resonant relationship can be found in many of the senses. In humans harmonic relationships can be found between the fundamental frequencies of Earth Energy, the solar system and our senses:
The Heartbeat of the Earth and the Life Frequency & Life Energy can be related to primitive music and our visible spectrum.
The Heartbeat of the Earth
Many ancient and primitive cultures use specialised sacred tunes for religious and spiritual purposes. Originally, virtually all sacred music was tuned to the Heartbeat of the Earth and many still survive. In modern musical terms the primary note to play music to the Heartbeat of the Earth is a little above C-sharp or 560Hz. Music to the Earth is tuned to this root note: The sidereal day, or the day measured with respect to the transit of the stars, lasts 86,164 seconds. The Megalithic protractor used a 366 degree circumference which was broken down into 60 minutes and 6 seconds or 131,760 seconds in a circumference. From this it can be deduced that the Earth will rotate one Megalithic second of arc every 0.65394657 seconds. To convert this into cycles per second (Hz) 366 / 0.65394657 = 560 Hz
During sacred ceremonies the Australian aborigines play music to the Earth with didgeridoos tuned to this fundamental note. Many of the sacred chants used by Tibetan monks are also tuned to this fundamental note.
Waves analysed by the brain
When the brain detects energy waves in the form of light and sound there are two basic ‘streams’ that analyse it: ‘What is it?’ and ‘Where is it?’ The two stream for the auditory and visual cortex of the brain function in similar ways. In fact they are so similar that the two can be confused either by drugs or through illness. Using psychedelic drugs people have described experiences of seeing sound in the form of shapes and colours. A serious medical condition known as Synesthesia provokes people to mix up their senses. In fact, to a certain degree, everyone suffers from a certain degree of Synesthesia – that is why many cross-sensory metaphors such as "loud shirt", "bitter wind" and "prickly laugh" make sense to most people.
If we double the Earth Tone 560Hz, 40 times (i.e. raise it by 40 octaves) the result is 6.16 TeraHertz (THz) – this is the colour blue in the visual spectrum or the colour of the sky and pure water. The entire visual spectrum of humans is harmonised with the midsection of the musical audio spectrum: from red (4.0 THz) to purple (8.0 THz), it lies within an octave and is harmonised from just below F4-sharp at 364Hz through to just below F5-sharp at 728Hz with the Earth Tone lying in the middle, just above C4-sharp at 560Hz. The body maintains a resonant relationship between the colours we see and the sounds we hear - it leverages off of the harmonic relationships between the frequencies of various energy forms as a building block to live and grow within the Earth’s ecosystem.
The reason for this is not coincidence, but simply that humans have taken advantage of the fundamental laws of the Earth during their evolutionary development. The Earth rotates at a certain frequency, which determines the frequency of the Geomagnetic Energy, which in turn governs the resonance of the living cells and ultimately of the entire body. Blue is the colour of water in its purest form and the essence of all life. Blue is also the colour of the sky when life giving light shines through it onto the earth. Blue lies at the midpoint along the octave of the frequencies of the human visual spectrum and is in sympathetic harmony with the Earth Tone. This allows humans to visualise the most important aspects of the environment around them to improve survival and development.
This is the reason ancient sacred music uses the Earth Tone as its root. Tones of ancient sacred music tuned the Earth Tone are in sympathetic harmony with the Earth, water, the sky, and the Life Frequency. When sacred music, tuned to the Earth tone, is played it is readily absorbed into conducting stone and will resonate in objects such as sacred stones which have been cut to allow resonance at the correct frequencies and wavelengths. There is also a flow of resonance within the human body since the tones are in harmony with the Life Force and Frequency. The tones are additionally able to flow into the standing waves of the Curry and Hartmann Grids, since these are also in sympathetic harmony with the Earth Tone. Because sacred stones are placed at the nodes of the Curry and Hartmann Grid they facilitate the transition of harmonic energy created by sacred music played around them into the earth. Under the right conditions, people trained to be sensitive to electromagnetic waves of the Curry and Hartmann Grids can pick up music at a sacred stone site, which is being played at another far distant site. Since the electromagnetic standing waves of Earth Energy are a very low loss transition media the energy levels may be conserved over very long distances and thus the distance between the sacred stone sites is not an issue.
The Ancient Art of Dowsing
The ancient art of dowsing (or divining) has been practiced throughout millennia. Drawings and artefacts of dowsing have been found in the Tassili Caves in the n’Ajjer Mountains in Southeast Algeria, dating back more than 8,000 years and also in Egypt over 4,000 years ago. More recently, the British Army employed dowsers to detect underground water supplies for their troops in the Rhine Valley. The US marines used dowsing during the war in Vietnam to find hidden tunnels, false walls and booby traps. Following a recent summer of drought in England, Southern Water used a team of dowsers to find leaks in their underground pipes.
As we described before the human body, down to the tiniest nerve cell, is build to be in tune with the surrounding Earth Energy. The body is capable of detecting even slight variations in frequency, amplitude and direction of the ELF electromagnetic frequency of Earth Energy. This level of sensitivity does not exist at a conscious level, but only at a subconscious level, otherwise the mind would be inundated with data. However, the autonomic nervous system may be trained (or conditioned) to respond to these changes. This is the training that a dowser undergoes. When the mind detects slight variations in the surrounding Earth Energy the autonomic nervous system (in the form of a conditioned reflex) stimulates muscle movement to allow a dowsing tool such as a dowsing rod or pendulum to move correspondingly.
